ralph ray wallace –
So it didn’t work right out the gate. The arm is off a few degrees, people say to use a spacer, that didn’t work for me. What worked is I took the arm off the old fuel pump, which is held on by a push pin and takes 2 seconds and swapped arms. I have a scout 800 with 196 engine. Now it works great
Longshot –
Bolted up to my 1965 Scout just fine, but doesn’t pump fuel. I compared the arm placement to the original fuel pump, and position where the arm needs to be to start pumping fuel is off by 17mm. Checked the pump on the bench, and it is capable of pumping fuel, but not in this application. Pump looks to be well made, but won’t work for me. Returned for a refund.
