Good value. Made in USA. Installed. Works as expected.

Still working, fits and works like it should.
Replaced 2 new chrome name brand ultra expensive pumps from a well know company that has bought out just about every performance line and turned them to crap. You know who.
Those had incorrect lever to pushrod distance.

This is the second fuel pump I have purchased in 3 years. The first one lasted only 2 years. I purchased that one from Summit Racing for $ 75.95. I believe this one set me back $ 116. In 2 years or so the price has increased by $ 41. The original Carter pump started leaking fuel from the bowl gasket. I figured the gasket would set me back $ 10 or so. It turns out Carter does not sell rebuild kits for their pumps. They referred me to a company in Massachusetts. That company does not sell individual gaskets to rebuild this pump. They will sell you a rebuild kit for $ 60 to rebuild this pump. Too expensive. If this pump lays down before I feel I have gotten my money’s worth, I will never buy a Carter product again. Today’s fuel contains 10% ethanol. Carter can easily make the gaskets contained within this pump ethanol resistant but they refuse to. Most of the time the gaskets leak due to the ethanol in today’s fuels. Buyer beware!

Performs as expected.

It put out enough flow (120gph) to feed my 385 sbc with a 750dp on the top gear all the way to 6000 rpm and through the traps at the end of the 1/4 mile with no regulator. where as the 80gph pump dropped pressure enough to kill the engine on the top end. Good price too and cheaper than an electric pump
