Amazon Customer steve –
direct fit for my dad! the pic shows steel lines but it came with plastic one way better I think, about 200.00 cheaper than the auto part store I deal with
Opie –
If this really is a carter brand it is crap. All plastic not metal flared lines like described. Stay away

fuel pickup/sending unit for fuel gauge in our 97 dodge ram 2500 cummins turbo diesel. works perfect. nice to know how much fuel is in tank! ha ha. thanks
Jeff c. –
As you know, parts for your first gen are getting tough to find so we gotta make do. This one is close. You’ll have to clip your trucks connector off and crimp on a ’94+ connector. Only 2 wires are used out of the 6 pins. Your low fuel light wont work as theres no provision for it. You’ll have to re-use your rollover valve. The lines clip on fine but once installed in the tank, you’ll have to twist the line connector. The original way it’s aimed will put your float into the side of the tank and may stick. So anyhow, that’s it for my ’92 D350 12v.
Kathryn Hodgson –
after 3 years of non working fuel gauge i now know how much fuel i have
Edwin M. –
After installation, the float got tangled and is unable to float to indicate how much fuel in the tank. It is too much trouble to drop the fuel tank again, so I have to go by mileage to appox the amount of fuel in my tank.
If and when I feel like it, I may find myself dropping my tank to correct the error.

The product is fine but it said that a fit a 95 model this unit does not fit a 95 per Carter fuel systems the electrical connector is wrong
JPH –
When I said same as the one I removed it was almost the same the toons you hook up the gas lines were plastic instead of metal. A manufacture change I am sure
steve –
Electric power plug not match up. The unit has a different style plug. Will not fit 1995 Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel.
Barl5 –
Used it to replaced the original one that was on an older Dodge. It has worked perfectly so far.
