Fits on my AMC 360 V8 perfectly! Strong little pump too, had to readjust my carb for the flow.

Fit great!

Lasted 2 days before leaking oil from the vent hole, replaced a “new” AC Delco unit that also sprayed oil after a week. After some forum digging I understand this is a pretty common issue anymore. I have next to zero crankcase pressure so I dont think they are being blown out, just not the quality they used to be. Ordering a GMB and AirTex unit to see if they are any better.

Worked great! The jeep is back up and running.

Funcionó tres días y empezó a fugar gasolina justo de donde esta el sello de la unión. Tarde me di cuenta de los comentarios negativos qué tenía.

Don’t be fooled by the “Carter” brand name. These are not the rebuildable Carter pumps that used to come standard with new American cars. These are from China, and they are crimped together, so if they break you have to throw them away. You’ll probably want to do that anyway to keep from getting stranded. I bought two of these… one was sold as a Carter and the other an AC Delco, but they all appear to be made in the same Chinese factory and both failed within a day of installation. I’m not the only one with this problem as it’s well known in the classic car hobby that the aftermarket mechanical fuel pumps are junk these days. You have to spend $230 for a McRobb Performance pump to get something of the quality that came with your classic car 50 years ago.

Installed pump and it failed within an hour of run time. Took me about 30min of troubleshooting to figure out I wasn’t getting any fuel thru the pump but I ruled the pump out cause it was new. I blew fuel up to the pump and it started blowing out of the weep hole indicating a bad pump.

Bought the part in November 2024. Installed it January 2025. Started leaking and dumped gasoline from the diaphragm. Don’t buy.
