I needed a new unit as all the steel fuel lines at the unit were rusted, but everything still worked. I looked on Amazon and found a unit seemed good, but after reading the reviews that the gas gauge stopped working soon after installation on a lot of them I chose a more expensive fuel pump sending unit from a well respected name Carter, feeling more confident in the name. Well was a nice unit, same looking as the cheaper one, but had Carter stamped in the metal. After the installation i was adding gas to the tank with gas cans and watching the gauge to get about a half a tank. The gauge worked as it should. I then went to the gas station and filled it up. Well you guessed it, gauge dropped down to empty and stayed there. I am sure i could do a return and Amazon would send me another unit, but Its 3 hours work and I need the truck. Buy the cheap one , its the same.

Unfortunately it wasn’t the right part. It is for the K1500 Pick Up Silverado, NOT the Suburban.

Fit perfect, works great, some people said this was loud but mine is just like factory. The gas gauge bounced a little more than normal the first day or two of driving, but is normal now.

Don’t fit the k2500 like it says it does it way different they need to get that figured out better waste of time ordering it

Pump works great, mechanic installed easy, BUT only after two months, the sending unit broke and now I never know how much gas I have. Its not worth paying to install a new assembly just for a sending unit since the labor costs 4 times as much as the assembly itself.
I would recommend purchasing a different brand.

Will not buy again. Pump would not run my truck. It didn’t have enough pressure and server made fuel needle jump all over the place. Had to purchase a different one from parts store and that one worked fine.
