When I saw this product listing, Since it was labeled as a black car scratch remover, I thought it had some light coloring involved in the product. I had a fairly deep scratch on the car, and the edges picked up a slight white color, which I was hoping to cover up without painting. The scratch is through the paint, but not down to the metal.
After receiving the product, the instructions state its only for scratches that are not deep – if you can feel the scratch wit your fingernail, then its too deep.
I did give it a try anyways on the original scratch I wanted to work on. I first used a touch up cleaner spray before working on the scratch. The polish goes on easily, and I used a microfiber towel to remove, but it didn’t really help this scratch, and the scratch still has a whitish edge to it. (They do say its not for this type of problem, so its not to fault the product)
I did additionally try this on some swirl marks on the hood, and it did seem to work ok there – I saw less swirl marks, but needed some more effort to work out all the remaining marks. I’m not too picky about this level of marks on my car, as the paint is overall in good condition, and has a nice shine, and I only notice these small marks if I look closely.
Just note, this product is more for detail cleanup of paint to get a full mirror like finish, not really a colorant for reducing visibility of deeper marks which go through the clear coat or paint.

I tried on some deep scratches in the clear coat using the product 3 times without any change, also tried on swirl marks without any change none of the scratches were deep into the clear coat so I was hopefull. I’m not a detailed or body person so maybe there is a trick but I didn’t find it. I get that it’s only supposed to change the way light reflects the scratch but this did nothing. Like I said I’m not a pro so maybe it could work but it’s being sold to common people to fix small scratches so for me it’s not worth the trouble.

It is going to be difficult to see this in the pictures, but I would say that it works a little better than regular scratch and swirl remover. I had already used scratch remover on the pictured car and then tried this product. To my surprise, this product helped by reducing the visibility of the scratch given its unique color matching. It is easy to use as it’s applied with the included sponged, rubbed in a circular motion, and then buffed off. The product’s secret weapon is the color matching (I used the black formula on a black car). I don’t know if the tinting will wear off over time so will watch for that over the next month or two. The product definitely works well but not sure about the longevity of the color matching so will do some additional testing over time.

My black car has numerous light scratches, so I tested Carfidant Car Scratch Remover to see if it could help. It did! The black liquid compound is easy to apply —no equipment needed other than an applicator sponge (included), microfiber towel and gloves (not included.)
The before/after photos are of some white scratches. I washed my car first and they didn’t come off, probably a door ding. Less than a minute of buffing and they are much less obvious. I went around the car looking for scratches. The product does a great job on very light ones. For deeper cuts, it just camouflages them a little. I’m happy with the results, especially because of how simple it is. No big deal to do touch ups after every wash.

Appreciate this product is made in the US and family owned. Came without a box, thank you for not wasting the extra paper! This product would be easy to use for anyone to take out their light scratches. Product does exactly what is promises.

For small scratches and wear this is pretty good but if it goes fully through the topcoat it doesn’t do much. Also a bit of a PITA to do large areas, would recommend a machine for large areas.

This is a wonderful product, leaving results beyond what I expected. Put simply, it works! I applied it to several bad door scratches on my vehicle, and with no effort, they were just gone. I’ve used compounds before when I was in retail car sales, but this works as well as anything I’ve ever used.

I recently picked up the Carfidant Scratch Remover for Car – Swirl Remover for Vehicles + Towel and I am very impressed with it. It has effectively removed light scratches and swirls from my car paint. I was able to remove some scratches that I had been trying to get rid of for a while.
