This morning was a perfect day, cloudy and cool, for applying Carfidant Ultimate Ceramic Coating Spray. I have never had any product that was easier to apply that gave such nice results.
Now, I must admit, that my car’s finish has been kept in good shape over the years, but I have heard very good things about these newer ceramic coatings being able to give the appearance of a deep shine and to do a great job preserving the finish over time, with far fewer applications than are needed by typical paste waxes. I’ve reached the age where I must admit that “fewer applications” has great appeal.
The results speak for themselves. I did also apply this to the window glass, but am less impressed with the results there than I am with Aquapel. That’s not surprising, though, as Aquapel is made specifically for glass. Carfidant Ultimate Ceramic is perfectly clear when applied to glass, though.
On both glass and the car body, when water is applied after allowing for a one-hour cure, the result is more of a streaming effect than a beading up that’s characteristic of wax. See the final two photos for a water pour over both the hood and the windshield.

I had brought the product recently to use it as a quick waterless car wash and touch up on my fairly new vehicle that I had already coated with a 10H Ceramic Coating product purchased here on Amazon soon after purchasing the car. I wasn’t expecting much of a difference using this product after reading the comments of a few users that said the product didn’t seem to bring a shine on white cars.
That said I was pleasantly surprised at the shine it brought out on a finish I thought couldn’t be enhanced any futher. the ease of use was a bonus, I sprayed the product mist on small areas and used a microfiber cloth to first wipe it down then used another microfiber cloth to buff it off, that was it. I am happy with the product, I even used it on my stainless steel fridge and gas appliance which gave it a nice shine and clean look.
I had first used the product a couple of months back and the water was still beading on the car after a rainfall, BTW it had rained a couple of times since I first applied this and I had not washed or cleaned the car in between and the car still looked clean with only minor signs of dirt over it.
The above picture was taken just this weekend after having appied the product on the vehicle. I washed the car, let it dry and applied this product the next day in the garage, as you can see in the video the left side of the hood was not treated and the product just yet and container stays on the hood while the right hand side where I applied the product the container starts to slide immediately after application. Hope the pictures I posted shows the shine I believe the product helped enhance. I am happy with the product.

I’ve tried a few different ceramic sprays and was left disappointed, I saw this on a lightning deal so I decided to give it a shot. I washed and dried the car, then followed the directions on the bottle. At first I didn’t really see much, if any, difference although it did feel smooth. After a typical week of commuting to work that’s when I really noticed how much better the car looked overall. It was dirty but not near as bad as it usually is, the dust blew off on my drive leaving it cleaner. I used it on my wheels as well and that proved to be a life saver! I washed the car for the first time since the treatment, I watched the bugs and brake dust I normally need to scrub off just rinse away. I still plan on trying a few of the other popular products just to see how they compare but for the price this product has worked well. The only thing I didn’t like was the bottle was much smaller than I expected, I had an expectation based on other products I had purchased and the pictures make it look like a big bottle, my fault for not researching it better. I was able to fully treat my car once but that was it.

Leaves a very slick surface and is easy to use. I really like the fine just that it puts out instead of flooding the surface with product and wasting it. That is really a plus. There’s a lot of other products out there that has a iffy sprayer. It is is easy to remove once you put it on. The only thing I will have to wait to see is the durability of it.
***Update*** Used this again this year, not sure of the shelf life, but it did not last long at all. It laid down a nice shine, but for the money there are better products out there.

I’m not sure why anyone would want a snot-like finish on their vehicle, but I won’t dwell on that fact for now. Or ever. Anyway, my dad’s idioms notwithstanding, this project is great thus far. We recently bought a 2019 Subaru Ascent (escaping the minivan life after 12 long years) and it was in need of some painterly love. This product was part of that of TLC. First, however, I tried it on my 2012 GTI that I had admittedly neglected from a paint-care standpoint. So, after washing and claying, I used this. I don’t think my GTI, which is black, has ever looked so good. Same for the Ascent. It’s been four weeks since I did them both and they’re still slick, slick, slick. I did use this as a fast detailer a couple of times on both to great effect. I don’t know how this holds up compared to similar products and it’s the first of its kind that I’ve tried. I mean, I wasn’t going to go to all the trouble for a 2005 Odyssey. Seriously. Easy to use — just spray and buff out by hand. No streaks or swirls for me.

works well ease to put on and take off but it states on bottle to re do after three washing it took half the bottle to do the car so if you wash your car once a week you will use about 8+ bottles a year at $25.00 a bottle that $200.00+ a year plus about 10 hours a year putting it on , or buy a can of wax putting it on in spring and once in fall so that would be 4hours a year and about $30.00 for a real good wax… no brainer
