This part DOES NOT fit 2017 Silverado 1500!
2017, Chev moved the pulse module to the fuse box circuitry and the BCM (combined). The fix for your wipers staying on or erratic is to change the fuse box, located under the hood, on the fender. Pop out, pop in with harness connectors to undo and reattch. Most dealers not aware of this fix!! Dealer part only!

Original problem was wipers worked on high speed only and they would return to park position properly when turned off with switch. After new pulse board installation, wipers now work on high and low speeds, but still no intermittent. They also will not shut off now. You have to turn ignition off to stop the wipers and get them to return to park position. They say all their products go through rigid testing before being sold. I don’t believe that!!

I received the part a few days earlier that expected. It fit perfectly with no modifications. Before I replaced the part my wipers would not shut off. Now my wipers work perfectly.

My wind shield wiper would not turn off after turning it on and no difference in the variable speed adjustment. I would have to pull the fuse to get the wipers to stop. I looked into troubleshooting, and it said to unplug the switch, at the steering wheel, and if it stops then it would be the switch. But if it doesn’t turn off, then it would be the Wiper Motor Pulse Board Module. Autozone and Napa had wiper motors for sale with the module but not he Pulse Board Module separate. So, after about an hour of tinkering around, I got it fixed, and now my windshield wipers work as intended. This part worked on my 03 chevy tahoe.

Yup, you will need to replace this unit. It is the fix for this situation. It’s not hard to do as long as you have some basic skills, a few tools, and willing to get a bit dirty. This is a good value for the do-it-your-self person. Remember to place a small piece of blue painters tape on the window to mark the location of the wipers at the lowest resting position. This will help tremendously with putting the wiper arms back. Remember their is small Torx-head screw (T6 I believe) on the passenger side to remove if you have to pull the plastic strip completely out (recommended). This is a perfect time to clean the crud and leaves hidden underneath. Oops, don’t forget to put the fuse back in when you are done – enjoy!

This was just what i was looking for and what I needed. My 2003 GMC Yukon XL 2500 8.1 suddenly had a wiper issue where you could not turn them off. Could only go between fastest and second fastest settings. I had to pull the fuse to turn them off! This part fixed my issue – although I could not get the wiper arms off to save my life no matter what I tried. The shop used a battery terminal puller of sorts I believe to get them off… Now I know for next time.
