Axle worked well for about 8 months now it s constantly clicking and clunking. Called amazon because item describes a lifetime warranty. But they will not honor the warranty nor help get a replacement part at all. Bad customer service and false advertisement. Do not buy cardone parts through amazon.

Cardone is one of Top 3 US Companies that make CV Axles for North American Market. On my research I found out that Cardone is the Supplier behind NAPA CV Axles and they usually offer a LifeTime Warranty on their CV Axles. Knowing this I ordered Cardone 66-4251 (Front Right CV Axles) for my 2010 Honda Accord EXL 2.4L Engine Automatic Transmission on Feb 2023 Amazon Canada. It came from Amazon.com Texas warehouse and it could have been a return. But it looked new and had my Mechanic install it. In May 2024 as my Mechanic and I were doing maintenance inspection we found that the Outer CV Boot of the Axle was leaking Grease and we could see the CV Boot had deteriorated. Cardone claims that the Outer Boot has extra flex folds to prevent stress and prevent this. (See photo) We caught it early and m Mechanic has pulled the CV Axle to inspect it with Detail. He stated that Cardone CV Axles have a Lifetime warranty and asked me to contact Cardone to claim Warranty. Well Cardone claimed that they cannot honor the Warranty Claim and I have to go through Point of Sale to claim the Warranty which is Amazon.ca. Well Amazon does not understand Auto Part Warranties and they treated this as one of the 30 days return Window item and do not offer any Manufacturer Warranty but only their 30 day window of return. I called many times that they are missing a process for Warranty on Auto parts from Cardone but they are sticking to their 30 days return window coverage. This is just Un-heard of in the Auto Parts business. I went back to Cardone to ask for their help but they are sticking to the policy of the point-of-sale policies of their Distributor who is Amazon.
I tired to explain to Amazon Customer Service that Amazon has a good policy on returning new products in 30 days, but they need to understand that Auto Parts (CV Axles in my case) do not normally fail in 30 days and they should have a wholesale agreement to honor Cardone’s Lifetime warranty. They are not listening and are sticking to the 30 days return window. However, Cardone actually said they honor their Life Time Warranty and asked me to contact Amazon again and start a return process through Amazon and they will try to help me. Let’s see how this turns out.
DO NOT BUY CARDONE AUTOPARTS from Amazon because Amazon does not undestand how to OR is too lazy to arrange the full lifetime Warranty offered by the Manufacturer of CV Axles (Cardone Industries).
I am not the Amazon Purchasing Department but Amazon must learn to offer Manufacturer’s warranty on Auto Parts especially if the Manufacturer has a Lifetime Warranty. Without it they will have thousands / millions of customers who purchase good Cardone CV Axles but do not have access to the Lifetime warranty offered by the Manufacturer.

Ended up needing a new axle after putting on lowering springs got it super fast and it’s very high-quality

Fits and works as OEM but much less to invest.
The vibration on the steering wheel went away.
I had a problem with vibration upon acceleration that no one seemed to find.
So I decided to replace both axles one at a time.
Finally got this corrected without too much money.
Passenger side was 45$ and driver side 61$.
So I’m finally happy.
