It’s exactly what I expected

Although I’ve previously bought Cardone re-manufactured wiper motors which worked without a problem, the recent two identical purchases were disappointing. One operated erratically and the other had been structurally modified (which was not evident in the ad photo) so it was not installed; both were returned.

I am currently under-employed so needless to say, I’m on a tight budget.
I needed to replace my wiper motor on my pickup and decided that this Cardone unit was going to be the one.
The problem w/my wipers was that they would not ‘park’ after they were shut off.
They would just stop where ever they were the moment the switch was turned off.
Also, when the washer function was used, the wipers wouldn’t shut off at all until the ignition was turned off.
They are suppose to wipe three times and then park. No. This can be a bad thing when you have to pull over
and stop just to shut off the ignition every time you wash your windshield.
Installation wasn’t fun but that’s not this units fault. It is just a semi-difficult installation.
Pre-installation inspection of replacement yielded signs of a typical re manufactured unit.
A quick jiggle later … no ‘loose’ parts rattling around inside. Lookin’ good.I unplugged the electrical harness
from the old motor (still in vehicle) and plugged it into replacement unit. While holding onto unit firmly
I had an accomplice operate all the wiper switch functions one-by-one and it passed this preliminary test.
After installation ( fit was exact, by the way) another test revealed that it operated normally.
One concern is the noise … not the voices in my head … the motor was quite noisy. A ‘gear’ sound is
how I would describe it. Time will tell about longevity.
It never rains when you want it to. I live in Alaska. It rains A LOT in Alaska … normally.
It hasn’t rained in two months straight … no lie.
It finally rained yesterday, at least for a little bit of it I was driving. The motor, so far, has
performed with absolute normalcy. It should be noted that the aforementioned ‘noise’ is almost inaudible
while in use and driving down the road.
Conclusion. I think I made a very good buy. I will update if things change.
UPDATE: It’s been almost three years now and still no problems. (Apr. 9th, 2015)

Did what it was supposed to do. Didn’t take long for it to start with external rusting but overall worked well for the short time I had the truck before it was sold.
