These very small plastic foam cannons {made by Naroote who is a plastic toy maker) are of extremely poor design and manufacturing quality from China. There is no rubber straw tube that extends down into the bottle to extract the concentrated foam or soap solution. Since there is no tube, the bottle full of concentrated solution is totally exhausted in a matter of seconds. All other foam cannons on Amazon contain a rubber tube extending down into the bottle.
Worse yet is the fact that neither the manufacturer nor the reseller knows which side of the cannon is the inlet side or the outlet side. So how would we know which end is connected to hose source? And because it is made of cheap plastic with plastic threads of both ends, it is dangerous to use with a pressure washer system as they have pictured in their photos.
And, one thread is a non-specified non-standard-size FINE thread, and the other is a non-specified non-standard size COURSE thread. The thread sizes and thread count aren’t even the same — and don’t match any of the standard thread sizes.
I found brass fittings that were close to the thread size of this cannon and used an ample portion of silicone thread-sealing tape and tested this cannon using only low-pressure house hose water pressure. As can be seen in the attached video — this foam cannon was a complete failure. It spurted water leaks on both sides of the cannon.
This cannon is a blatant safety risk because it is made of plastic and yet their photos suggest it can use with a pressure washer. Dangerous proposition for unwitting Amazon customer who are not familiar with the dangers of common pressure washers with pressure specs between 1,800psi and 4,000psi.
And since it comes with no fitting, how would the average person know how to hook this cannon, only to discover it doesn’t work and leaks profusely at both ends. I would avoid this product, which is sold by several resellers,
