I dont own a tesla, but It fits perfectly behind the steering wheel and doesn’t block any controls. I have a Jeep Renegade. The silicone design is sturdy and holds my phone securely, even when driving over bumps. I love that it’s out of the way but still super accessible. Highly recommend for other car owners!

This phone mount doesn’t fit our 2025 (2024 build) Model Y. It might kind of work if you press the adhesive against the back of the steering wheel, but it’s clearly not the correct size. It’s not wide enough, and the back of the mount isn’t curved properly to perfectly meld with the area in which it’s supposed to mount. Not impressed.
Also, as you can tell from the product photos, this only lets your phone sit horizontally, but mentioning here just in case that’s a deal breaker for some folks.

I liked this concept for my phone. The Tesla has no good places to put a phone holder in the car. I can put it on the big display or this option. This stuck to the interior just fine. It didn’t move at all. I just could not get my phone in this holder. I have an Iphone 14 Pro Max with a thicker Otterbox case. No amount of shoving could get my phone to fit down into this phone holder. If you have a smaller case, this would work I’m sure. I also didn’t care for the placement of the phone case. It fits on the other side of the steering wheel. I thought I would be ok with this, but it really does impede your phone screen.

I have a similar mount that goes right in front of the air vent, but I hated how my phone got hot when the heater was blowing in the winter. I figured this mount would be slightly better since the phone would be further away. So far it’s been great. I love the finish of the silicone, and it fit perfectly on the steering column. My only complaint is that it’s a little bit short, so I can’t really see the bottom edge of my screen from behind the steering wheel. I’m 5’9″ and tend to sit slightly reclined, so someone taller or with better posture may not have this trouble.

I got this as an option to hold my phone in my Model Y. First, installation isn’t very good. It doesn’t quite fit on the steering column correctly and after I finally got it in place, it’s not very east to see over the steering wheel. Perhaps if you had a yolk it would be better but the visibility just isn’t good. Second, the adhesive failed after about 2 days. So I found myself constantly pushing the device back down. But the corners end up popping up either on their own or when you remove the phone. LAst, the clip that hold the phone in place block enough of the phone that it’s pretty annoying. The rubber build quality is okay but the versatility isn’t good enough for me to recommend.
