Bought to hold a fairly large camera screen used to monitor side and rear vision on towed trailer.
Didn’t want forward vision to be impaired and by attaching a block of house vinyl trim cut to size and mounted to screen I’m able to place the screen just below the dash top out of the way of my forward vision. Additionally this allows access to all normal controls in the vehicle.
This mount is extremely solid but still allows the extension to be adjusted to exactly where you want it and the addition of the second dash top mount solidifies the whole setup to maintain a rigid but adjustable locating of your device. Recommended

Normally, I don’t write a review within a week of using a product. I usually wait about a month (depending on the product) before I write a review. The seller sent an email asking for a review. (It might have been an automated email to autosend after a purchase, but when a seller contacts a purchaser, I feel that that is a sense is pride and wanting customer satisfaction.
I drive a minivan – the windshield is actually pretty far away from the driver. The length of the “arm” is perfect – not too close, not too far away. The added support piece controls the side to side movement like when you are making a turn. The swivel “head” is great because then you don’t have to worry about positioning the angle of the suction cup (height on the windshield) and the angle of the arm to be pointing directly at you. Also, I don’t have a tablet, but it is nice that they include an extra “holder” depending on the size of your phone/tablet.
Update from June 2, 2019 to July 11, 2020:
So it’s been over a year and it broke. The part that holds the internal springs. One set broke. I noticed when I would take it my phone that the “clamp” part wouldn’t close. I would have to pull it out a little bit and wiggle to get it to close. Then yesterday I pulled it out and the “clamp” came out. So being the person that I am, I popped it open. And saw where it broke.

I bought this holder a long time ago and love it! A few days ago the spring in the phone clamp thing popped so it wouldn’t hold my phone anymore. I tried finding other phone holders but nothing was as good as this one. So I just bought another of the same. I saved the arm part from my original one so now I can have both a phone and a tablet one because it comes with both heads and now I have two arms!
This is very well made. The sticky part that goes on the window is very strong so be careful when placing it. Also, if it gets dirty it will stop being sticky but just clean it with some rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer, let it dry fully and the sticky will return! I’ve taken this thing off and on so many times just trying to find the right position. I’ve also installed the same one in about 3 different cars now and it still trucking. If the spring hadn’t broken it would still be working fine.
The stand that goes on the dash is not sticky nor does it have suction. However, this time around they included some double sided sticky pads for the stand. I never needed the stand to be sticky in my old car. The dash was shaped in such a way that bending the arm down more to put pressure on the stand kept it in place just fine.
This time around in my 2011 Nissan Versa I didn’t really have room for the stand part. So I used some double-sided mounting tape to keep the arm from moving side to side.
Previously I had trouble putting my phone in and out of this holder but once I figured out the best way to do it it’s so easy. I don’t want to go back to having a button.

This is a really good quality phone holder. Sturdy and rigid. And I love the extended arm. I’m short and my dash is long so it brings my phone into a comfortable and safe distance. Overall this is definitely one of the better phone holders out there. I’ve gone through quite a few of them over the years and I think this one will last a while.
Cons:
The stand for the arm that sits on the dash is very sturdy is not stick or suction so it does tend to move around a little.
For me, it takes two hands to put the phone in the cradle and take it out, which is rather cumbersome and I often pinch my finger trying to remove my phone. My old one just had a button and it would pop open and my phone would land in my waiting hand.

This will be at least the 10th window mounted cell phone holder I have purchased over the years. They ALL have broken due to defects in the design. Either the clamp breaks off the arm or the suction cup fails. Let’s see how long this one lasts. I received this on Aug 27, 2018.
So far it’s worked as advertised. The long arm allows it to be physically closer to me which I like as my Jeep Wrangler’s windshield and dash made my last few car mounts a little difficult to reach. It took some trial and error to get it in the right place due to the length of the arm.
This is the first mount I’ve used with a long arm and an extra “foot” to support it. I think this will allow the suction cup to last a really long time as all the weight of my phone and the cables will be on the foot that is on the dash, and not hanging and constantly pulling down on the suction cup. It comes with two clamps, of which I am using the smaller one. My Galaxy S8+ fits in securely and I have no fear it will fall out. The way this clamp is designed is much better then others I have used. You don’t have to ratchet the clamp closed, but rather expand it and allow it to contract on its own to hold the phone in place. I expect it to last indefinitely.
I am very happy with this phone mount. I would recommend it if you’ve gone through multiple mounts that end up breaking.
