I really like the variety of cleaning tools that are included with this leather care kit. The brushes, microfiber towels, and applicator pads give you everything you need to clean and protect your car’s leather interior. I applied the cleaner and protectant to my 2007 Acura RDX leather interior and was impressed with the final result. The cleaner removed a residue on the leather I didn’t even realize was there and the protectant left a subtle shine without being too glossy. I’ll have to wait to see how well the protectant holds up to UV and typical wear, but it seems to provide everything I need to ensure full protection of my car’s leather interior.

So far I am really pleased with this leather cleaner and conditioner set. I have both a large leather sectional sofa and car with leather seats. I gave this a try on my leather sectional the other day and here are my thoughts! First, the set comes in a nice reusable cardboard box. You have to put the sprayer and easy open lid on the bottles. The sprayer is for the leather cleaner (doesn’t state it, but seemed to make sense for that one). The tube for the sprayer is long, I stuffed it in the bottle, but you may want to cut it. I used the boar hair brush to clean the leather. The set also comes with a nylon brush, not sure if there is a better use for one over the other. I let the couch dry for a bit then went in with the conditioner. I used one of the 2 microfiber cloths for that. The conditioner made the leather soft. I was surprised that after cleaning and conditioning, the finish was dull vs. shiny. The other set I used in the past gave the leather a soft shiny finish. It bothered me at first, but now I can’t even tell. The products smell like leather, sort of. My husband came into the room while I was using the cleaner and he said that the room smelled like electronics. After going outside and coming back inside the house, I then did also get that electronic smell. I have an air purifier and an air quality monitor in the same room, neither showed any issues, so at least I can say that there were not any bad chemicals being released into the air from the products. I wish the set had some more extensive directions. The bottles have some directions on them, but the rest of the items in the set could use some explanation. Overall, I do recommend this set, it would be a great gift, or of course a set for yourself!

Don’t get me wrong, this is a nice set and it comes in a very nice gift box but other than that I don’t really see the value. You get about $10 worth of microfiber clothes and brushes along with a bottle of leather conditioner and a bottle of leather cleaner.
You can get the top rated Griot’s leather cleaner and leather conditioner for about $12 a bottle each so you seem to be paying about $20 for the packaging. I might be ok with that if the cleaner was top notch but it doesn’t seem to do as good a job as other brands and it has a pretty awful plastic smell.
I’d stick to the top rated brands like Griot’s (or even Jay Leno’s garage brand is pretty good)

One thing that stood out for me is that I really tried to find the ingredients for these products and wasn’t able to. Did I miss something? This was a huge red flag for me as leather care basically is about properly caring for leather without using harsh surfactants or overly drying substances.
The kit itself comes with everything you need to clean the leather, two terry towels, a sponge, a circular applicator, two flat brushes (one nylon, one horsehair) and a detailing brush. All of these items were very nice.
Prior to this, I’ve been using a German brand (best from Europe) to care for my precious BMW leather. I enjoy detailing my car so I’m into the best products I can get based on performance, quality, ingredients and ultimate feel of the leather.
The first thing I noticed is that the cleaner doesn’t foam and it immediately removed all sheen from the leather, yeah it cleans but it also strips which is not so good for leather. The smell was awful, the best I can compare it to is plastic or vinyl, whomever said this smells like leather probably hasn’t smelled real good quality leather in a while. The conditioner seemed ok and it left a soft sheen, didn’t like the smell either.
I guess if you want to clean and condition your leather this kit will do it. But if you want something that smells nice, this isn’t it. The company should really provide info about the ingredients since you will be exposed to the product in your car and you can decide if it is what’s best for your car’s leather interior.
