It worked great got the key cut and was able to program myself.
Bought many things –
Good for the price, but after 5 months it already stopped working. Looks like ill have to buy another.

This is the second attempt to try and replace my fob
Its easy enough to get the new and the old fobs open – you can youtube to see how to do it
The circuit board fits fine, the buttons line up
but
when you put the cut key in from the old fob – the pins do not fit properly – you cannot drill them either
Because the key pins do not fit it makes it so the button does nothing when pushed. – no spring action
You can tighten the spring in so the key is not sticking out – but to get the key out you have to manually push on the top and pull it up
or
you can leave the key out and you can push it in but it will not lock and will stay open
You have to put the key in the ignition with the correct side up otherwise it hangs down and can cause the car to shut off — kinda dangerous I suppose –
To get a fob key cut though is going to cost over $150 at a dealer – and it comes with the fob
for my Buick it did not work – I will just have to pull the key out when needed and hope I always insert it properly into the ignition

This remote works great! You have to knock out the pin on your old remote pictured above with a small nail or punch. Wiggle the old key out then do the same with the new fob. Switch the new key with the cut key and you’re good to go. I knocked the pins out and then kept the key in the old fob to start the programming process. Then removed it, placed it in the new fob and then slid that into the ignition. Programming was done in less than 5 minutes. If you use the whole new fob minus the key it fits perfectly. If you try to take new parts and put them on the old fob it won’t work. Would definitely recommend if you want to save some money. New keys from the dealer or anywhere else are over 160 dollars.

Worked perfect. Switching key took a little extra work but did everything myself. Did need a small punch to push pin out. Programming took literal seconds with another functioning fob

My key-fob broke but the key itself was undamaged. I bought this replacement. It’s not the highest of quality, but it’s much cheaper than most places wanted for replacing the fob. It took some patience and bad words, but I put the key in the new fob and it came with some instructions to program it to my car (but I ended up using youtube for that.)
I am very happy with the key fob, but I do have to be a little more gentle with it than I did with my old one that came with the car. Other than that it was a very affordable replacement and I am happy with it. Do some research on how to program it to your vehicle and how to take this apart to put your key in if that is your intention. With a couple YouTube videos you can do this as well. You just need some patience
