The new cap is the lower one in the picture. It’s on a 2014 Ford Focus. The new cap needed a little pressure to catch the threads, but went on and locked down as expected. Time will tell how it holds up with use.
I only picked this up, as the stock cap would kind of loosen itself, just an 1/8 of a turn. Figured i will see how this one performs, and update this review after a couple of months. It does look like the Ford part, and even uses the same part number and same font/lettering/diagram as the OEM cap uses.
Purchase by the part number, not the car description. This part number (DG93-8101-AA) fits dozens of different Ford models/engines.
