My old knife brush broke after many uses. I used it daily, liked how it worked so when I saw this nearly identical brush I ordered it. Using regular sponges I often end up cutting the sponges so this solves that problem and gets the knives safely cleaned safely.
Multi use as described so not only for knives.
Unlike others you can open this to clean but only hand washable according to description so unfortunately cannot be put in dishwasher. It is a lightweight plastic so I cannot speak to longevity yet.

This brush is fantastic for a wide range of cleaning applications. It does work on seatbelts as described, but I found it most useful for dishes. The double sided bristles on this brush make it perfect for cleaning silverware and knives. On top of that, this brush features a hinge that allows you to open its inner area for easy bristle cleaning. I have used this brush every day since it arrived, and I have no complaints so far. If you are someone who does a lot of cooking, this brush can save a significant amount of time washing utensils.
