the video shows a 12V power distribution box I put together.
the 12V power receptacle was very easy to use especially with the pre-made wire leads that came with it.
Drilled a 1 inch hole in the top of a plastic dry box, then used this to being power to a lid mounted multiple outlet device.
The power receptacle snapped securely into the 1 inch hole, and a few seconds later it was wired up.
I like that they included an inline fuse as well to keep everything safe.

It said it was a replacement for the original equipment on my 2001 Ford F150 – we made it work by epoxying it in place – I was not the same as the original.

I ordered this socket to fabricate a cable connected to a lithium battery for 12v accessories without draining my SUV battery.
For every visit to the lake or the river, a set of paddle boards, tubes will take up to 20 minutes of 12v accessories draining battery from my SUV.
This socket plus the cable are now connected to a lithium battery that makes my life easier and without risking the super-expensive battery on my SUV.
Cable has a 10Ampere inline-fuse and terminals on both ends. Solid construction and standard size for all the 12 V accessories you may have.
Good price, recommended.
