Comes in a small cardboard box with a basic manual. Used this to test a brand new bottle of DOT 3 and it came back with 0.4% I found this a bit strange as I would of thought that a new bottle would read 0%, I then tested this on plain water and it read 2.6% again I would think it would read 100%. Used this on my car next with fluid that’s about 2 years old and got a reading of 2.6, I have no way of testing if the reading are accurate but after 2 years of the fluid being in the car I would say its pretty close?
Cons:- The battery spring on the positive side(+) is too large for the AAA battery and doesn’t make contact. I had to wrap a thin metal tab around 1 battery to get it to make full contact.
I cant fully recommend this because of the battery issues, I took the time to figure out why it wasn’t working most would just return it and for the accuracy of the reading I would think a fresh bottle of brake fluid would read 0 and water would show 100%. that was not the case.

I didn’t know about the existence of an article like this. For me, it has been very useful because my brake pads are new and even so, the braking felt a little deficient. When I got this meter, I could notice that the brake fluid had a lot of it and when I replaced it, the braking is more precise. This can measure DOT3, DOT4, and DOT5.1 brake fluids, which is used to measure the quality of the brake fluid in a wide range of vehicles. It also includes a sound that notifies you when the moisture levels in the fluid exceed the moisture limit. It has a screen that uses colors to indicate the status of the brake fluid. It provides me with accurate measurements to evaluate the quality of the brake fluid and I can prevent failures in the brake system. It is compact and easy to use. I recommend it to maintain the performance and safety of the brake system.
