Battery was completely drained – fully charged within a few hours. I had an old charger that stopped working and I decided to purchase this item and even though small it worked to my satisfaction.

The charger works well. For the price I think it was good value. I have not determined whether or not it repaired the batteries but if I notice an improvement I will update

Just for starters I do worry about the longevity of the charger. With its size and being how light it is it only weighs 14 oz, battery chargers are usually a little bit more robust. That being said it does work, you have settings for the car, start and stop battery, motorcycle, and the pulse repair mode. It also says that it’s supposed to have a maintain mode but I can’t get it to do that function. The leads on the charger kind of on the short side, the battery side is 2 ft long, the plug is about 30 in long. The overall sides of the charger is 6 in long 3 in tall and two and a half inches deep, so quite compact. One thing that might help it last a little bit longer is it does have an internal fan that turns on when it needs to. It does have a temperature reading but it is in Celsius. And the highest amperage I seen it charging at was about 5.6 amps, it will show you the temperature, the charging voltage, and the charging amps, one at a time. I did try the repair mode, on a car they recommend running it for about 8 hours, for a motorcycle they recommend about 4 hours. But they also tell you to keep an eye on the battery to make sure it does not get overheated. There was quite cold when I did it so I didn’t have an issue.

Had a dead battery kept losing its charge. I put this on the maintenance mode, and now it starts the car. (Update 6/13/24it been a few weeks now and it still works good) 09/28/24 update after using it, it would keep it charge If I would drive it once a week if I let it sit more than a week, I would have to recharge it with this charger ended up buying a new battery, but if my battery dies, I will use it again

One minor drawback is that, while it performs admirably for routine maintenance and minor repairs, it might not be the best fit for more complex or demanding automotive battery issues. Once my friend’s car had the battery issue and I brought this charger but couldn’t work, anyway, as tested, for the daily maintenance, this charger works well so far.

I originally dismissed this as a cheaply built product but after trying several alternatives the plastic shell and thin wires are standard. The wires don’t need to carry a lot of current so they don’t need to be particularly thick.
Now that I have seen the competition ive updated my eating to 4 and amended my review. I still wish the clamps felt a bit sturdier.

The build quality feels cheap. The clamps and cables are thin and flimsy. Testing the performance but I may end up returning this model and getting something that feels more substantial.
The charger works well but after a few tries I decided to return and find another model with better cables and clamps.
