Well this year my gas flap where I put the nozzle froze shut had to pay 90 dollars to take apart and get the ice out afterwards I had a evap leak which then had to have the neck leading to my gas tank replaced damage also from ice the dealership had never seen this happen well while that was being fixed I rented a Honda passport 2024 it had a cover over the gas port attached to the gas door so it got me to looking and we’ll so happen I came across this cover put it on easy to install and should keep dirt and water out of my gas port lid so thanks very pleased

Fits my Pathfinder well. Time will tell if it continues to keeps dirt and water from around the opening if you happen to be in an area with dusty conditions.

Not too tight / not loose. EXACTLY the right size and covers the gas inlet without interfering with close or opening of gas inlet door. Since driving dirt roads fully expecting this to help keep Arizona dust out and help prevent pushing in debris when inserting nozzle. Clearly this is something Honda should have thought of; but am glad these designers did. No longer having to carry a can of compressed air – Dust Off – to blow off road clinkers before fueling up. Thanks !
