Continued to to cause a no crank no start failure. Spent two months and two different Pro GM shops to find the issue, 5.3 pickup would start and run 3 to 5 days then fail. cost me 2000.00 dollars plus being towed twice. At times it would reset itself and start un able to locate issue. purchasing this cam sensor especially after being sold on their pro pitch of quality has left me feeling trapped and I will never recover my loss of money spent. replace the sensor its been a month and no issues, I do not recommend buying.

It showed up exactly like described fit perfectly for a quarter of the price
Jaime Rivera –
It only worked for a few months. Not very good quality. Had to replace in less than 6 months.
Papá Oso –
It only works for 45 minutes and I had to buy another one, no, buy, look for another option.
John Mrozinski –
Magnet is bad, not sensing any
Thing, Chevy dealer installed a new one, it fixed my problem!
J. Heinz –
Installed this sensor along with VVT valve & solenoid, new water pump, belts, hoses, etc. Codes P0340 & P0341 showed up shortly after. Pulled sensor back out, tested pins with multi-meter, had zero resistance between signal wire and + & -. Purchased locally a new working sensor, it tested out with a value (think it was in the 7k ohm range). Only had it installed for 30 days, none of which without the trouble code active. Faulty sensor, fixed the problem outside of my 30 day return window.
