Michael D Callaghan –
Tired of paying someone else to replace the cabin air filter in my Ford Flex, I decided to do it myself this time. The dealership handled the last one, and I don’t even remember (or want to admit) what they charged me. Accessing the filter housing behind the glove box was simple, though removing the panel cover took a little more effort. It was held in place by two small tabs, but once I got them loose, I had a clear path to the old filter.
What I found was disappointing. The filter the dealer had installed was flimsy and felt cheap. In contrast, this replacement had stiffer sides, which gave it a sturdier feel. The added rigidity made installation slightly trickier than removing the old one, but it was still a straightforward process. Once in place, it fit well and felt more durable.
Overall, I’m happy with both the quality of this filter and the ease of installation. It’s nice knowing I can replace it myself next time without overpaying at the dealership. If you’re looking for a good cabin air filter that feels more substantial than the stock ones, this is a solid choice.

very good non-oem replacement filter for various Ford Vehicles.
I have the ford flex (actually my girlfriend) and she indicated it fit properly with no issues and appears to be similar and on par with the built and structure quality of the dealer/MFG OEM filter. But at a much better price.
As far as how it works/performs? not sure but judging by the other reviews and the built quality vs the OEM one, I am assuming its the same thing. Will follow up on this review if needed, but for now this is a good alternative to MFG OEM Dealer filter at a substantial savings. Good Luck

So easy to install. I was shocked that they charge so much at the oil change place. From now on I’ll be doing it myself.

Pros:
– Easy to install
– Fits my Ford Taurus perfectly
Cons:
– haven’t found any yet
Overall:
Very satisfied! I’m always shocked at the amount of dust and gunk that the filters catch, which is why they get changed every 6 month or so.

2018 Ford Flex. It’s a filter and it fits like the OEM.
RicardoDeville –
Fit explorer perfect
Travis Griffis –
Says it fits a 2010 Ford Explorer – it does not because they didn’t come with one. They didn’t start installing cabin filters in Ford Explorers until 2011
Cora –
Fitz snug in my Ford flex
