It’s great to hear that this cabin air filter worked well for your QX80….. Even though it’s not listed for that model, if it fits properly and performs well, that’s a win. Helps keep the air clean and fresh inside the car.

Changing the cabin air filter can be a pain on some Nissans. It’s easy to crush the filter when installing it, especially if it doesn’t have stiff outer walls. This fllter has stiffer outer walls all around, and keeps its shape better when being pushed into the filter housing. The filter element looks well-made and of good quality. I’ve tried other filters before. This is the one to get.

After watching a few youtube videos to educate myself on how to change this filter on my 2019 Nissan Kicks, it was very easy to do. The old filter was absolutely disgusting when I pulled it out. So glad that I changed it out when I did. The air smells cleaner in the cabin now.

I was honestly surprised by how easy this was! I drive a 2021 Nissan Kicks, and with just one simple YouTube video, I was able to swap out my old cabin air filter with this one in under 10 minutes. No need to go to the dealership or spend extra money—this filter fit perfectly and feels just as good (if not better) than the original.
The quality of the filter seems solid, and there were no weird smells or issues once I installed it. Just make sure to pay attention to the airflow arrows on the filter when installing—it’s a small detail but super important for it to work properly. Sometimes the arrows on the filters means that is the way the airflow goes, ans sometimes the arrows mean which way of the filter should face the front of the car.
If you’re like me and looking for a budget-friendly way to maintain your car on your own, this is a great product. It works on a bunch of Nissan and Infiniti models too, which is a bonus. Definitely a 5-star buy!
