COCOAUTO Cabin Air Filter Review: Disappointing Durability
I had high hopes for the COCOAUTO Cabin Air Filter, but unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Upon installation, the filter seemed to perform well, providing clean, odor-free air. However, within just one month, the filter began emitting a strong moldy smell that became impossible to ignore.
This is incredibly disappointing, especially since cabin air filters are supposed to last several months or longer under normal conditions. I followed the recommended installation and maintenance instructions, so this deterioration appears to be a flaw in the product itself.
The smell made driving unpleasant and ultimately forced me to replace the filter much sooner than expected. I cannot recommend this product due to its poor durability and tendency to develop odors quickly. If you value long-term performance and freshness, you may want to explore other options.

Used it for my 2022 X5 and fit just as well as the OEM Mahle filter. Saved me over $250 considering the dealer wanted $275 for cabin air filter change !!! Ridiculous but then that’s how higher end vehicle services work. This for sure is something DIY if one is inclined and can spare 20 mins.

It was a very good price compared to Ford. It came almost immediately after I ordered it and contained the engine and cabin filter which saves ordering twice. . Great deal.

Perfect fit for my 2022 maverick with the gas 2.0 turbo and awd version, both the engine and cabin air filter fit perfectly, the products look to be better quality than oem, the cabin air filter has several felt screens to insure nothing gets threw, I rate it a 10 on value and ease of installation and quality
