Fit my Leer truck cap, easy replacement

These will replace the Springlift (Atwood Corp) gas shocks model SL33-40-1 perfectly. I replaced the (40lb per shocks) on my rod locker on a Lund Pro V 1775 ’03 model and they work fine. Easy to install, plenty of lift, we will see on longevity.

If you have properly weighed your door or lid or whatever it is you want to lift, these struts work flawlessly. But remember, your total weight is what will be lifted by the pair (2) of struts. You will need to purchase the ball flanges separately but I do not consider that to be a negative because by selecting them separately you can opt for a better quality, heavy duty flange if your project warrants it, which mine did. My door weight was 50 pounds. The struts I selected were rated for 55 pounds and they function perfectly with good strength and balance.

I replaced my original hood struts with this item. Wow! what a difference. Before, I had to hold it open or worry about the hood falling on my head. The struts are so powerful that there is no worry about that anymore. It hold the weight of the hood without any problem. I received my package in just a couple of days.

Have an older camper cover for my truck and the old lift struts gave out. Looked up the size I needed and the fit is perfect. Sturdy. Work as expected. Quality is good.
