I try to keep the cabin air filter in my Jeep Cherokee replaced on schedule. I find that I am usually using either the heater or the A/C every time I’m in the vehicle, so the filter is in constant use. I can pick a filter up at my local parts store, but for this last replacement I located this unit from BestWell on Amazon at a better price and it saved me a trip to town in the bargain, so I thought I’d give it a try.
I was impressed with the filter I received–it was solidly made and compared very well with the original Jeep filter that I removed. In addition, this unit is impregnated with activated carbon, which might add some benefit in removal of odors. The unit duplicated my original filter perfectly–although the orientation of the pleats were horizontal rather than vertical as in my original unit (which makes no difference in performance).
Installation was as easy as the original, and air flow is full volume. I am fully satisfied with this filter, and saved money at the same time. I believe it was a good buy.

I purchased this filter for my daughter’s 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Before the installation, there was a nasty odor when running the AC – Almost like mold or mildew.
This is a charcoal-activated filter, which was a great option. Before installing the filter, I sprayed a little Lysol into the compartment and hose. On this vehicle, the installation was quick and easy.
I turned the vehicle on, ran the AC and the smell disappeared. I would recommend this filter.
