This is a good fuse for diagnostics, but not for running all the time because you have no idea if it is tripping and re-setting constantly. The concept makes sense, but when it is re-setting constantly it seems to be too fast to allow it to cool down and can eventually lead to fire, which it did for us. We had this fuse catch fire (along with another amp version of the same brand) while driving a short distance (less than 5 miles). Vehicle shut off and flames coming from fuse box. We had replaced all fuses with ones of this type but now regret it. Had read a couple of reviews that mentioned this fire hazard but disregarded since it was only a couple and thought it might be a fluke. However, please take caution with this type because it is a true fire hazard we experienced. Luckily the fire was contained to just the fuse box and was extinguished quickly, but it was while driving and not a good situation.
Giving this 3 stars because it is truly a good fuse for diagnostics because if you have something that trips as soon as you apply power to it it trips so you can help figure out what the issue is. But if you replace your fuses with these in general, it fails as a fuse because it did not prevent fire.

i placed this in a relatives RV that was blowing fuses, and was a real nuisance
in a recent “last week” 800 mile round trip, the breaker tripped ONE time and auto reset in about 15 seconds
he is very Happy..
we are still trouble shooting, why and where the circuit overloads occur, there are numerous sub circuits powered by this fuse/CB
but this is a god send..
it lets him keep traveling, and he can report to me , what was operating at the time of the trip and reset
the sub circuit fuses to not blow, no sign of over load can be found
i suspect a loose grd in the wiring harness causing a spike/surge, of too many circuits blinking off and back on at the same time
