What I really like is that it works well to clean off bug guts and at the same time it leaves behind some protection. Usually bug removers will strip any protection you have on your paint but this one ups it and actually has ceramic coating protection built in. You save yourself a step by not having to reapply your top coat. This is good for keeping in the car to quickly clean up messes before they etch into your paint.

A good spot cleaner for me, I like using it to get the bug splatter and bird poo off the car without having to clean the whole thing. It has a lubricant on it so makes the part shiny and I don’t have to worry too much about it.

This is by far the best bug remover I’ve used and didn’t have to spray the whole bottle for it to work. I sprayed the area & let it sit for about I minute & used the scrubbing pad that came with it and the bugs came right off. Definitely buying again & this is my go to moving forward.

My husband and I like to take road trips so we always end up with a lot of dried bug splatters on the SUV before we make it home. No amount of scrubbing would get it all off so I decided to give Carfidant Bug Remover a try. We spray it on before we start washing and let it soak in a bit. The big guts and anything else we pick up along the way usually comes right off. If there is a particularly stubborn splat we will reply after drying then wipe with a microfiber and that always takes care of it. I would definitely recommend and purchase again. It works great on both ceramic coated and uncoated vehicle.

I have a white car and while I find that the color actually hides a lot, the bugs are so noticeable. And no matter if you get all the bells and whistles at the car wash, I still struggle to get all of the bugs off. Until now. This stuff really works at removing the bugs. The included microfiber towel is great, too. All in all, it’s a fantastic set that saves me time and effort when washing the car.

Just to get this out of the way… a clay bar is still my preferred method for removing bugs. A little detail spray/lube, a few swipes of a clay bar, and the bugs are just gone. Easy peezy.
But there are some times a clay bar isn’t very good. Textured plastic, for instance. Or perhaps some intricate styling detail like louvers where a clay bar just gets stuck. For those situations, this bug cleaning spray works great.
Spray it on, let it sit for a few seconds, and wipe the bugs away. They don’t always come off the first go-round, so repeat as needed. I’ve never had it take more than 3 tries to remove bug goo, even for the really stubborn ones that have been on there for a month.
As for the ‘ceramic’ portion, I don’t really have any input on it. I have other products to protect the car once it’s cleaned….this stuff I strictly use for bug removal.

Didn’t really work on pitch which is why I bought it. I’m sure on bugs it would work fine. I’ll have to keep using Denatured Alcohol.
