  1. Ron J.

I ordered April 28 and it went out seven days ago

  2. M. Gasse

Parfait remplacement, ajustement précis, fonctionne très bien à une fraction du prix de l’original Subaru.

  3. Amazon Customer

Window motor went out in a 2012 Subaru Outback, this fit in perfectly and works great so far.

  4. NH

This was a perfect replacement fit for the driver’s side window regulator on my 2011 Subaru Outback, 2.5i premium/2.5L. Double-check the connector type on your regulator. Some Outbacks have a 6-pin connector while others have a 2-pin connector. This replacement part has a 6-pin connector.

Although some reviewers have said the motor is a little nosier than the OEM, I hardly noticed it. After the install, it worked perfectly. Although it was an easy install, I really hate the Subaru engineers who thought it was a good idea to use sticky black glue to hold up the vapor barrier for the door panel. Ughh that was annoying.

I will update this review if this new window regulator fails prematurely. For now, I’m happy because I have a working window at a great price.

Installed pretty easily, window was dead so it made it more difficult to reach the window bolts, but is rather easy to accomplish after watching the YouTube video once.

Just be sure to line up both ends of the glass and test the switch before putting everything back.

Was 9 total 10mm bolts for the motor, regulator and window. Small hands and the right tools will make this easier, but most people should be capable of it.

No issues with excessive noise as others have said, might be a difference in models or years with door sound.

As other reviewers have said, the motor is quite a bit louder than stock (minus one star). Otherwise it works the same as the original.
There was a minor issue during install; The flanges at the top mount point did not quite align with the slots in the door and likewise the threaded holes were off just enough that the bolts couldn’t go in straight. I pulled the regulator assembly back out and did some slight bending and, viola. Probably this misalignment was from minor mistreatment during shipping.
After install I did have to perform the auto-up/down reset procedure to get the full button functions working. It’s been a full day so far and all is working great. I’ll update this again if the motor develops any problems.

  7. jessie

Worked well for 2 years and started malfunctioning. Fully dead at 3 years. Worth it to spend the extra for OEM.

  8. Kaylee neu

The wire was shredded in the original set up on my 2011 Outback and this piece fit perfect. Took about 25/30 (2 1/2 beers) minutes from start to finish to replace. This part saved me over $400.

  9. TonySturch

The driver side window on my 2012 subaru outback recently came to a grinding halt. I found the cable to have rusted through and frayed, getting jammed in the cable housing. I ordered this motor/regulator and had it in hand in a couple of days. After about 15 minutes, I had the motors swapped out, and the window wasworking again. There were zero fitment issues, and literally no adjustments necessary to get smooth operation. It took a couple of cycles for the motor to “learn” the window limits for the safety or overload protection. But otherwise there were no surprises – it just worked!
