Terrible product! From the plastic ends that stripped as soon as I installed them was really amazing! I would strongly recommend looking at ones with metal ends instead of machined plastic! Also no way to adjust the strength/resistance in these struts I had to pull/push incredibly hard to get to close and then the window it was attached to shot up with such force I now have to replace the hinge on my tail gate window! And then it stripped the plastic end off of the struts

I used these to replace some lighter weight ones I had bought previously which weren’t getting the job done. Where I struggled to pick up the top of the engine compartment in my boat before with a couple of 60 lb struts, now with a couple 100 lb struts the top opens with the slightest upwards pressure, its awesome. My only suggestion to BOXI would be to make the weight calibration to the strut more clear, maybe putting a sticker on the strut after its gassed up? It would have been easy to mix up the new ones with the old. Installation onto the 10mm balls that I had already installed was very simple., just snap them right on.
