Always important to read directions and examine what needs to be done before attempting. I would suggest having a person to assist to help hold hatch while you work, or perhaps something to hold it open.

Works amazing. Put these in my 2010 Nissan Rogue and was super impressed. Installation was quick and easy. Just a warning on its strength after you’ve opened it and get it part way up, it takes off. No effort needed. In fact very little effort after you’ve opened it.
People were tired of being bonked on the head by the hatch. There was a combination if you pushed completely up on it a couple times it would stay. But these new ones are way so much nicer as I mentioned there is very little effort in getting the hatch completely open.

Perfect fit on our 2014 Nissan Rogue SV. Got 4 years use out of the Nissan originals before they started to fail. Easy 5 minute installation on the Boxi brand after watching video on YouTube. Held back one star because of concern that they may not last as long as the OEM struts; because the diameter of the new BOXI piston tube was 1/2 the size of the diameter of the original Nissan strut piston tube. At this price if the new ones fail after two years use I can easily afford to buy a second set and still be way ahead of the Dealership prices!

Super easy to install. Just pops right on. Very affordable. My back hatch has not lifted for 3 months and I’ve been holding it up with a broom handle. Grateful to have fixed it quickly for cheap. I took it to the Nissan Dealership and they quoted me 180 to fix it for me. Heck no! Glad a avoided those scam artists!

Direct Fit on 2012 nissan rogue. Works like new. Great upgrade. Easy to do. Just need Youtube… jk all you need is some light pressure, and a small flat head screwdriver to install.
