Worked out well. Lifts seat easily. Holes were too big but fit rubber grommets which work perfectly.

I another review saying how it would hold 60lbs and you had to have proper leverage to close the pickup box. So I only bought one thinking I did t.wsnt it to be too hard to close. Not at all the case for me! It will pop it up a couple inches then if I life the lid completely open it will stay open if there is no wind or anything. I’m ordered a second one for the other side to give it a little more power for wind and as shocks get less strong. Certainly not overpowering…

I was very surprised with the lifting power of this piston. I installed it on a truck bed work box and the lid just flies open. I believe the lift would support 60lbs. as it is a challenge to close without proper leverage.

I ordered this back in November of last year for my 1989 wheel horse model 518H garden tractor. It supports the seat up while filling the gas tank. The original one gave out years ago I got around to installing it today and it fit perfect,
