I usually run Bosch Icon blades but these are better for night and rain.

I have used Bosch wiper blades for many years, mostly the Icons which perform incredibly well and have proven to be effective and durable.
I tried these Focus blades out of curiosity because they are marketed as providing superior performance in rain and at night.
As it happened, while I was installing these a rainstorm was taking place, so I immediately drove around for a while and was blown away at how perfectly these blades cleared the windshield.
Seems to clear fully on both the downstroke and the return stroke. I was especially impressed at how well it cleared the passenger side because even the icons would miss the very far edge of the window. But these cleared a complete path the full width of the blade on both the up and down stroke.
I have yet to test these in the winter, but they appear to be built well to handle ice and snow as the clip mechanism is covered with a plastic cover.
The Icons always did well in the winter because of how thick they were constructed and how well the mechanism was protected.
The mechanism on the Focus doesn’t seem *quite* as robust as the Icons, but is definitely far and away better than even the factory Hyundai blades. I suspect these will perform well in the winter and will update my review in a few months after driving in snow and ice.
But right now, these Focus blades amazingly seem to outperform even the Icons…. at least on my windshield (2006 Hyundai Azera).
I’ve seen descriptions of these in other places stating that they are vehicle specific and specifically designed for the windshield of a Ford Focus. However, based on my experience, I think these blades would perform extremely well for virtually any vehicle. They conform to my windshield beautifully.
I’ll take them out at some point at speeds over 70 mph and see how they do in the wind. The Icons always did well and I suspect these will too.
If you’re a fan of Bosch blades and haven’t tried these yet, I highly recommend them. Right now they are the best Bosch blades I’ve ever used.
The only negative I noticed was that sometimes they made a very slight rubber squeaking sound. Not on every stroke and nothing that would reach the level of annoying, but they were not 100% completely silent 100% of the time. Probably a minor nit-pick and we’ll see if this becomes an issue as the blades wear, but right now this is probably the only negative I’ve encountered.
AutoZone carries these Focus blades, but markets them under the name “Envision.” So if you see “Bosch Envsion” blades at AutoZone, they are actually these exact Focus blades with just a different name.

I bought it from retail store. It’s really good. I change wiper every year. This is the best I have ever had. Really does what it supposed to do especially in the evenings. Thank you Bosch.

I’m sure the “Focus” is a great wiper. The problem lies with the “BOSCH” website that states they would fit. There is no way possible this blade can be installed on a 2017 MKZ without metal cutters, a soldering torch and a roll of duct tape.
