I’m normally a prude when it comes to reading reviews, cross referencing and making sure that something is correct for my car.
Well, it’s my own fault for not reading the reviews, because this 28″ Excel+ wiper blades does NOT fit my 2013 Sienna.
Amazon incorrectly lists this as fitting the “front left” of my Sienna, but it does NOT.
The blade comes with 2 connectors (one already mounted, the other spare/different). I even got to the point where I took both of them to check and see if they would fit my wiper arm, and both did NOT. I thought I’d get wise, and use the OLD connector from either another Bosch blade or another blade, but neither would fit, because the mounting bar on the blade itself was too thick. This is the long version if you’ve made it this far.

The BOSCH 41917 Excel+ Conventional Wiper Blade; 17″ … Easy install on this 1989 Toyota Pickup. This truck already had an installed adapter. The top of the adapter is a J-hook and the bottom of the adapter is attached to the wiper arm with two (2) screws. The wiper blade attached to the J-hook as delivered. The other included wiper arm adapter parts were not needed.

I use these blades on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and find them to simply be the best!
I’ve experimented with several brands and styles. On my particular vehicle, I find that this blade outperforms all the value blades and the RainX blades I’ve tried. I also have found these to be better than the low-profile versions of the RainX or Bosch offerings.
When it comes to wiper blades, I view them as a safety item and don’t mind paying a premium as long as they have good performance.
These Bosch wiper blades have offered me excellent performance in heavy rain, and icing conditions such as sleet and freezing rain. I also find them up to the job for both light and heavy snow. Durability is excellent and I can go 6 months or longer without changing these out. I usually change my blades when there is excessive streaking.
In summary, while a little pricier than other products, this is simply the best wiper blade I have been able to find.

I’ve had a lot of cars and trucks…
Because of the MN weather I go through at least a set of blades every spring, maybe 2 a year.
So, I’ve tried quite a few kinds.
These REALLY wipe nice, and they’re short, sturdy, well built. Some blades are real tall, and kind of fold over after a while, leaving you with a good wipe in one direction, and a terrible one in the other. Not these. They wipe smooth and quiet and clean. They make good solid contact all the way across and follow the contour of the windshield well.
I don’t appreciate the ones you buy that come with a half dozen chunks of plastic to mount them.
These are made of steel, although the connector wasn’t. They still feel sturdy, and I’m not going to worry about them breaking when I need them most, leaving gouges in my windshield like a cheap line from the local auto parts store did.

My wiper blade was starting to get loud and wasn’t doing the best job of cleaning my windshield anymore so I picked up one of these Bosch wiper blades. I got it just in time, because it has been raining all week and proved to be a great time to test it out.
Installation: Easy. It provides a couple adapters and easy to follow instructions.
Performance: Excellent. It’s quiet, and does a great job of wiping the windshield. No streaks, no sound. Excellent in rainy conditions. Not sure about snow though.
Overall, a great wiper, I will likely buy another. Would recommend.

Switched to Bosch about 8 years ago for my CRV. They are the only brand I buy now. It sounds silly but much better wiper performance, as in cleaner windshield/less glare from rain/snow at night. I have an astigmatism so if I don’t have my glasses, I constantly see glare from headlights and it’s way worse when it’s raining or snowing. These wipers have improved my vision/night driving.

The 18″ and the 20″ fit my 2000 Civic coupe perfectly and installation was trivial. They work silently and perfectly. They replaced another Bosch model (can’t figure out which one) that a mechanic installed a couple years ago that under-performed and wore out quickly in comparison to the factory blades [which look very similar to these–it appears the Honda replacement inserts would fit these frames]. My only quibble is that on the 20″ wiper, the rubber blade wasn’t seated on the frame properly. It took a couple minutes of pushing and pulling to get it locked in.

I’m on the second set of these and they work as all wipers should. They cost less than half as much as crappy wipers from the auto parts and multipurpose stores. Prior to these I paid three times as much for name brand fancy wipers that go clunk every time the blade changes direction – I find that annoying but had to live with it awhile after spending so much. The first thing I noticed with these Bosch Excel+ is they don’t make noise when changing direction and they don’t squeak when rain slows down so you don’t have to constantly adjust the rheostat (speed control) as the rain speed changes. How long they last really depends on your climate and whether you park outside or in a garage. Garaged in the damp cool Pacific Northwest these last at least 18-24 months before beginning to break down or squeak. Obviously if you’re in the desert or park outside the sun will kill the rubber faster.
