Order several of these filters and, at first they seemed just fine. After a month my truck started leaking oil. Leak got worse; went to find it and it seemed to be coming from the filter. Pulled the filter, checked the gasket and, everything appeared to be OK. Installed another Bosch filter; leak stopped. A week later a leak developed from the new filter. I tossed all my unused Bosch filters in the trash!

DOES NOT FIT A 1987 Porsche 924S 2.5L engine! Amazon really sucking at auto parts listings! It does make a great paper weight though!!

This does not fit a 1977 320i. The amazon fit guide is totally wrong.

The title says it all! Be wary of auto parts from Amazon. Double check part numbers with other sources to be sure of fit.

This is the WRONG filter for a 1997 Mercedes c-280. It does not fit. The Amazon website is totally wrong. If you are looking for a filter for a c-280 DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. This is a screw on cartridge filter and what you need is a filter element.

The picture does not accurately represent the size of the filter. It is in reality half the size shown. I knew that when I ordered it so I was not disappointed. I assume it works adequately. The vehicles I use it in do not see many miles before I change the oil and filter.
