This product fit perfectly in my 2002 saturn L300 V6. No modification needed. Turned of engine light never came back. I used free shipping, it was here in 5 work days. I changed this part in 10 min. I unplugged it and used a 7/8 open wrench to change it.

My local Saturn dealer tried to charge me $625 to install 2 of these. Oh well, I guess it is that new streamlined user experience that was supposed to be their hallmark. I paid $140 here. Because the exhaust manifold is stainless steel, these do not get stuck. Be ware of generic 5wire sensors on EBAY, they will not work for this application. There is a special chip in the connector that is matched to this version of the sensor. you cannot just clip the wires and splice something in.
SATURN MAN 2000 –
It took 5 days for Amazon to get it out their door (“FREE SHIPPING”) and ship it, before I got the tracking # and another week before I got it! If they think that by delaying my order will make me want to subscribe or pay for expedited shipping the next time, not happening!!! if you need it fast, buy it locally and skip the wait, this particular purchase was so not worth it.
When I installed it and cleared the DTC P0030 with my own scan tool, the light went off, so I went for my inspection and the SES light came on with the next restart of the engine. The mechanic/tech said that the sensor was no good, after recording the millivolt readings from his scan tool. If the part is dropped or the ceramic is damaged internally, could be cause for a failure.
I went to PEP Boys and bought the same P/N for a few more dollars and no waiting, if it turns out defective too, I can at least get another or a refund FAST! This is the OEM part and is a quality item, but it could of been a fluke- bad part, but I don’t know how this item was stored, handled or shipped on its way to me.
This purchase was a complete waste of my time and won’t be doing that again, for what? to save a ten bucks? PASS!
Now I have to call Amazon, arrange to ship it back and get a refund, more wasted time!

I replaced this part in about 10 min. It was a perfect fit with no problems. The car uses the same part for bank1 and bank2.

This sensor i purchased about a year ago, I keep having issues with sensor over heating. Finally decided to pull the sensor and diagnose the issue. After comparing this sensor connector with the Original one and a new one purchased from Oreilly I can see differences in the Bosch Logo, lettering and markings on the connector. New Genuine Bosch sensor purchased from Oreilly auto matches old sensor but is different from the sensor i purchased on Amazon. Buyer beware. this was money wasted.
