I received my order and upon opening it, it looked like it had been attempted to be used. It had anti seize on it and black carbon on the box. It didn’t appear to be used but like it was attempted to but didn’t fit.

Perfect replacement but do not tackle this job unless prepared to have bruised knuckles and lots of time. Very difficult to pull out of manifold will need to eat part up and utilize a lot of leverage. ad to resort to a large Rigid pipe range as removal tool unable to budge the part at all

None of the struggles I dealt with while replacing the original O2 sensor on my Trailblazer were this part’s fault. For the price I got this thing at, it beat all of the other OEM plugs I could find, and was a direct plug-and-play affair.
A few tips for the Chevy Trailblazer owners that are buying this to fix an issue:
1) Remove the intake hose that sits between the intake manifold and air box. This allows you to use a breaker bar or large ratchet to break the original loose.
2) Spray the original sensor with some WD40 or PB Blaster or any other penetrating oil at least a day in advance. Mine was locked in there pretty good and needed as much muscle and as long a ratchet as I could find to get it loosened up.
3) Rent or own the right tool for the job. Autozone will let you borrow an O2 sensor tool and it would have saved me a chunk of time to just get the tool before starting this job. It will allow you to loosen the old sensor and tighten the new sensor without dealing with the plug wires.
Anyway, I’ve been driving for a few days now with the new sensor and no error codes have popped, so this is a total winner in my book!

Bosch oxygen sensors are great. This is for my 2005 GMC Envoy with the 4.2L I6.
