So easy to install. Don’t waste your money on the “offset O2 sensor wrench.” Just a regular 17mm or so will do it. Or the SAE equivalent. Don’t even need to jack a truck or jeep up, just crawl under.

If your engine bogs down when you push the gas or sputters on the highway or is over 100K miles it might be an O2 sensor. This reads the emissions and tells the computer to tell the fuel injectors to add or subtract fuel input. If it isn’t reading right you fuel mix won’t be right and cause the sputtering/bogging.

Try the downstream (closer to the tail pipe) sensor first. If that is it replace the up stream(closer to the engine) sensor next.

Odb2 scan will pick up your problems as well.

Have fun, get dirty and good luck.

Fit upstream on 97 grand Cherokee 5.2. Lead wire much longer than what was on there. Working good though. Didn’t have a check engine light or any other issues. Just replaced because the one that was on the car must be at least 8 years old and I recently replace catalytic converter so they say it’s not a bad idea to change oxygen sensor.

El conector del arnés no corresponde, la publicación comenta que compatible con el vehículo y no entra con el conector.

Used in a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, fit perfectly, was here when it said it would be. Best of all, is was $30 cheaper than any nearby auto parts store. Best Buy for the price

This Bosch sensor was an exact-fit replacement for the OEM 2000 Jeep sensor. The wire harness and connector were identical to the original. Best of all, the price was right!

Technical Overview: My diagnostic monitoring software showed the original O2 sensor was not changing voltage correctly, and continuously signaling the ECM to add fuel (both short and long term fuel trims were high). Consequently, my fuel economy had dropped way down and the engine was running a very rich fuel mixture. It eventually began to emit black exhaust smoke and run extremely rough at idle.

Installation of the new Bosch sensor was quick and straight-forward. I also anticipated that I would need to remove some soot from the spark plugs and possibly clean the fuel injectors. There was even a chance of possible damage to the catalytic converter. But I elected to first drive the vehicle with my diagnostic software connected to monitor O2S performance and fuel trim activity. The ECM was controlling everything as it should and the vehicle performance improved to normal after approximately 10 miles of highway driving. The Bosch O2 sensor enabled the original ECM to manage the fuel trim(s) perfectly. No extra follow-up work was needed, perfect!

With over 150,000 well-used miles on my Jeep, this new O2 sensor made a significant difference in overall engine performance. Both Idle and acceleration are smooth, and the fuel economy improved by 2 MPG.

Went bad in less than 2 weeks. – 1996 Cherokee XJ 4.0. I checked it with the computer live data when first installed. The voltage fluxuayed is it should. then later got a CEL and confirmed with the computer it was then reading 1v constantly. (High value)

Perfect fit in down pipe, no mods needed… working just fine and a real cost saver over local parts store.

Now and then there are problems with parts on this 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ, it’s an early build and has some 1998 parts used as I find out the hard way… this fits fine I’m happy to say.

    Good price!

Perfect fit upstream O2 sensor for a Dodge Stratus ES 1997 V6 2.5L.

The trouble code I was getting from my OBDII scanner was “P0134 – O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1).” My car would randomly stall while idle or driving slow. Occasionally, while driving fast, I could tell that it was trying to stall.

After replacing the O2 sensor, the car stalled about four time within five minutes of slow driving. My mechanic said the PCM was adjusting to the new data from the sensor and the car might not work as expected for a little while. We drove it for another five minutes at a slow speed and the car wouldn’t stall. At that point, I took the car home, which was a 40 mile drive, lasting over an hour. The car did not stall once. It actually felt like it had a bit more power than before. I’m hoping the problem is fixed, so I’m leaving a 5-star rating for now.

By the way… if you have the same car as I do (V6), good luck getting to the connector for this specific sensor behind the engine. It’s a guaranteed pain. However, it is possible to do it without removing the top of the engine. Still a pain, though.

It worked well on my 98 Jeep Tj 2.4 litre upstream and it’s exact fitment. After installing my engine light is gone. Arrived on time and cheap on price.
