Bought this Distributor Cap for my 1994 Toyota 4Runner. However it will not work on my 4Runner. I did filter my search for my vehicle and this included with “These Products Fit Your Vehicle”. Appears to be well made, just does’nt fit.

Looked exactly what was in my truck. Replaced the old without an issue. Even came with 3 new screws to hold it in place.

Bolt pattern does not match up to distributor, firing order & direction of rotation on top does not match original cap. By the time I pay the $5.99 return shipping and spend my time to prepare and take take it to UPS, not worth my time.
Building Things –
Purchased this along with many other items for a project vehicle and by the time I got around to replacing the distributor it is too late to return the item that does not fit my vehicle. Do not trust “Amazon confirmed fit” on this one. I should have verified with other sources before ordering.
Screw positions do not match up, rotation is backward as indicated with arrow on top, numbered differently and there are no vacuum line attachments.

I hear good things about Bosch products. I’m hoping this distributor cap will be one of them. I’ve been running this cap for a long time now with no problems. I would estimate at least 30,000 miles. Highly recommended!
