All I need to say is that this is an excellent quality muffler and it sounds amazing on my 2015 Silverado 5.3. I also deleted the resonators.

I had ordered a brand new muffler and unfortunately received a used one that had many scratches, markings, decolorization and, black exhaust color on the inside. The item was clearly used / previously installed in a vehicle, then removed and repackaged for resale.

I purchased this muffler for my 2013 Sierra and I am super impressed. I didn’t want to buy the cat back system from Borla because it was 1400.00 bucks. I looked until I found the muffler they use in that system and bought it by itself. It’s perfect! Quiet in the cab while cruising down the highway, and when you stab the gas, It opens up for everyone to hear! The exhaust at idle is just enough to let you know it isn’t stock. I highly recommend getting this muffler if you want Borla sound and performance on a budget! Do it!

Cut out stock muffler and flapper on 2015 Tahoe, this fit right up with a 6” piece of 2.75″ to fill the gap and some wide and narrow band clamps. Love the sound, you can hear it when you give it gas, but still quite on the highway. Before this I muffler, I tried a straight pipe in place of muffler, too aggressive and annoying at cruising speed, this muffler is the perfect blend of quite on the highway but let’s you know your driving a V8 during acceleration
