Most boosters, and I have a few, cost quite a bit more than this one, and with coupon discounts, this unit is very inexpensive. It does work, and seems as nicely built as my others (which cost twice as much) but long-term reliability and function being an unknown at this point, we will just have to wait and see. It will charge a low battery, but as my battery is in a passenger car (six cylinder) and not one of the larger and harder to crank engines (such as a diesel) I cannot comment on that. Recommend, with some reservations regarding long-term.

These battery boosters are pretty amazing for their size, relative to the 120V chargers and other battery solutions.
This one in particular is fairly light (maybe not a good thing). I don’t have the tools to measure it’s output but I don’t think it’s packed with li-ion cells. Others have stated similar skepticism.
I keep this in my truck for emergency startups of ATVs, snomobiles, tractors, and other smaller engines. I’m not sure I’d trust it on a new car or truck, I’m concerned the higher voltage and burst of amperage may cause some damage. (This is not founded on fact, just a paranoia).

I now have one of these in every vehicle. That includes ATV/Golf Cart and UTV.
While I have not used it on a big V8, it started my UTV with no issues and if like most, can sit for long periods of time and keep the power on hand.

I tried this on my 1400cc (1.4 liter) motorcycle and it worked great.
I got this because it claims to be able to start my 6.6 liter deisel V8. I haven’t tested that yet.
I see these advertised at 5000 amps (not just this one) and i wonder they don’t use a realistic and comparable cold-cranking amp output.

This is a decent jump starter that seems very similar to others I’ve received. Nice and simple operation, so it’s something anyone can easily figure out and use. I’m only giving it 3 stars for now as I have two concerns. The first is that after charging the unit, after sitting on my bench for 3 days it’s down to 97% charge. I’m going to charge it again to see if at that point it holds or if it makes a difference. This is a concern as most of us are going to charge the unit, put it in our vehicle, then forget about it. If it’s constantly losing charge, it might not be charged enough when the time comes that you need it. I’ll keep an eye on it and see how long it holds the charge or to see if a couple cycles are needed for it to stabilize.
My second concern is that this starter doesn’t come with a carrying case. I’ve received a number of these now and all the others have come with a case, which makes it a lot more convenient when storing in the vehicle. I’ll find a pouch or something similar to store the unit so not a huge deal, but enough to reduce it a star considering the others come with a case.
I’ll update this as needed once I’ve had it for while once I see how it holds a charge.

So I got this battery pack to just leave in a car. So I ran a few tests to confirm the battery capacity. The listing claims 20k mAH but it weighs significantly less than the Anker 20k mAH pack I have.
So I measured capacity in and out of the battery pack and did not get what they claim. If you look at my pictures the battery pack from empty only took 7200 mAH and it only outputed 4000 mAH. So the claim of 20,000 mAH is false. Also the claim of 5000 amp output is very wrong. 5000 amps at 12 volts would need massive 1 inch cables, this battery pack does not have that.
Basically for a cheap jumper pack it may work but I’d recommend spending a bit more for a better pack.

Die Auto-Notstart-Batterie gefällt uns. Wir haben Sie für den Notfall gekauft und daher noch nicht benutzt. Aber es ist sicher nützlich, vorzusorgen. Die Batterie ist vergleichsweise leicht und ist deshalb vermutlich für kleinere Motoren besser geeignet. Die Bedienung ist relativ einfach, alle Funktionen sind über einen einzigen Knopf erreichbar. Längeres Drücken aktiviert die LED Lampe, die sehr breit und ungerichtet leuchtet (180 Grad).
