Drain the fuel tank if it has a lot of fuel. Remove the clamps to remove the fill lines. Carefully lower the gas tank. Clean the area around the pump access then remove the pump assembly. Reinstall with our new one

after i installed pump i tried to start engine and the pump was leaking gas everywhere after inspection i found that the nuts that hold the pump together had no threads in them , and therefore there was no pressure just leaking fuel.
