Someone at Bilstein needs to look at a 2017 F250. The top of front left has a hose clamp tied to it. The threaded top of the Bilstein is too short to mount the clip. No where in the instructions or online does it tell you to use an allen wrench to hold the shaft while tightening the top nut. It is very difficult to get a wrench on the nut and an allen wrench into the top of the shaft then tighten the nut. It would be best to use a ratcheting box end wrench. (18 mm). The OEM has a place for a wrench at the top of the boot. MUCH easier.

Switched from 5100 to 4600 series after putting 75,000 miles on them! I drive 50,000+ miles a year and 99% hwy driving. The 5100 series are purpose built / valved for lifted trucks and off-road driving. There is zero difference in quality but very noticeable in ride quality. The 5100 are harsh ride on unlifted trucks. Very noticeable improvement in ride quality with the 4600 series.

So far ride quality is great. Let’s see if my tires continue to cup.

Great product!

Biilstein are always the best OEM replacement shocks. Performed great on my F150 and now my F250.

I’ve been a fan of these Bilstein 4600 series shocks for years and I feel the ride with these shocks is much better than the stock shocks that came on my 2017 F350.
Mattm400 –
I like these shocks, although I bought this to replace a leaking one under warranty. They do ride better on my F250 than the factory shocks.

Installed on a 2017 Ford F250. Factory “Rancho” shocks were shot. Installation was pretty straight forward for a DIY and ride quality improved.

Really disapointed. I have received an open box and I am missing an installation kit #B4-KT1-Z223A02. My truck is jammed in the garage because I cannot put the shock back without this kit.
