Installed these on a 2011 F150 Super Crew 4X4. I have put 500 miles since the installation. They improved the ride and handling immensely. Installation looked to be a bit of a challenge on these, so I opted out to have my local shop do the installation. I’m glad I did. With the adjustable lift settings, I was able to install, oversized tires on the truck (LT285/65R18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 (32.50″ x11.50″) with no rubbing issues. Will purchase again.

Leveled out my 4wd 2012 F150 nicely and provides a smooth (somewhat stiffer than OEM) ride. Not the easiest DIY project but it can be done in a day. I would highly recommend getting two sets of spring compressors (total of 4 compressors) from your auto parts store to complete the project. Two would not compress the spring enough to get the top nut started and had to make another run to the parts store to get another set. Only complaint about the strut itself was the design of the top bolt. Trying to hold the bolt still with an allen wrench while turning the nut was a challenge.

Great product, especially for the price. Replaced my 2013 Crew Cab 4×4 OEM struts with these. Put them on the 2nd from the top setting, raised the front from 37.5″ to 39.25″ (ground to lip of fender). Back went from 39.5″ to 39.75″ so it left a slight rake.
Installation was fairly simple, doesn’t require an engineering degree but it takes some time/effort. Took me about 6 hours to do both but I was also replacing both UCA’s so that added a little time.
Ride has definitely firmed up, doesn’t nose dive when braking hard or roll as much on turns. Very much worth the price/effort.

I have a 2011 Ford F-150. I wanted something to level the front end out but did not want just spring spacers. I almost bought the Rancho quicklift system. They have the adjustable ride. But they only raise the front end 1.75″-2″ only. I wanted the true 2.5″ level lift. I could not be more pleased with these shocks. I set the shock on the highest level and they gave my truck a true leveled look. I stuck 35″ tires on the truck with no problems. They gave the truck a slightly more ridged feel but in my opinion the truck rode to softly anyways. However a word of caution on the install. Get really good Spring collapsing tools. Your going to need them. It took me and a buddy about 5 hours to install these. Its the typical trial and error thing. 4 hours for one side and only 1 hour for the other side. I also bought the matching Bilstein 5100 shocks for the rear of the truck but I have yet to install them.
All in all a great shock for the price. If your looking for a true leveled look you cant beat these.

Description states 0-2″ of lift. Installed per instruction to 0″. They lifted truck at least an inch. Very unsatisfied with this bilstein product

I purchased these shocks as a pair. Unfortunately they would not work with my truck. I completed a return and using the barcode supplied and placing them in the same box I received them in. I returned them. I was refunded only for 1 shock. I contacted Amazon about this issue and after being told it was taken care of I was still charged for 1 shock. So I paid ($147.31) for an item that I do not have.

Raised the front end an inch and a half. Looks better, handles better than new. These shocks should be stock instead of the cheap garbage ford gives you. I had no idea my truck could drive so well. Bit of a pain to install but worth it.
DOGE for the Win –
Bought these in 2018 for my 2010 F150 FX4 to level the truck and provide more clearance in the front end. I only use this truck for hunting and offroad trips and there have been times I’ve really put them through the test through some unexpected drops into drainages, etc. They have worked flawlessly and are tough. The extra hieght has provided those additional inches I needed. If anyone is concidering these versus the pucks that you install on top of your shocks to l evelout your truck, go with these. I live in the mountains and the ride is super nice and they keep you stuck to the road when taking corners hard (i.e. fast). Also, I read you have to periodically retighten those puck level kits. Just go with this, one and done.

Replaced the front shocks on my 2011 Ford F150 Platinum with these. Have them at the third setting which is about 1.5in. They look great. Pretty much leveled out the truck with the back end. They are Bilsteins so German built and an excellent company that makes an outstanding product. Can’t go wrong with these. They look great and perform even better. You won’t be able to install yourself in most cars, but if you go to the right place, the price isn’t too hefty. I suggest that you also get an alignment immediately these are put on. My truck rides and looks absolutely great.
