It works absolutely great! Stunning difference! I used it to record audio from the headphone jack of a scanner to the line in of my computer with a dedicated software program. Prior to putting the device online I had a continuous oscillating tapping sound as well as extremely dirty audio that had a lot of hissing. Once this was installed inline, which was a simple plug it in on each end and done, the oscillating sound and all hissing and miscellaneous noise was gone and I’m left with pure, noise free audio recordings. I have to say that this was a second delivery after a lengthy delay with considerable excuses when contacting Amazon with my inquiries multiple times only to be promised it was on the way and given a new delivery date that came and went with no arrival of the product. Ultimately I was told it was lost and the service representative handled the return and reorder during the call and I was given another delivery date that was met. I don’t fault the seller in the least for this and had it not been lost in transit I feel the delivery would have been very quick as it was after the reorder. Excellent product and it honestly works better than expected and exceeded my expectations!

Does the job very well

Using this with my portable amplifier. Line noise was really loud but this device eliminates approximately 80% of it. Shame it doesn’t cancel out 100% of it but since I’m using it to practice electric bass/guitar when I’m on the go eg. pool, park, traveling, it does the job well enough. If you’re going to use this heavily, it’s do not recommend.

I recently purchased the UGREEN USB Audio Adapter to solve an issue I was having with noise in my docked computer speakers setup for my MacBook Pro. This little device worked like a charm and completely eliminated the annoying static and interference that was plaguing my sound system.
Instant Noise Reduction
The main reason I bought this adapter was to address the persistent noise that I would hear through my speakers when my MacBook was docked. It didn’t matter what I was doing—whether listening to music or joining a Zoom call—the interference was always present. As soon as I connected the UGREEN adapter, the difference was immediate. The noise disappeared completely, leaving me with crisp, clean sound.
Easy Setup and Plug-and-Play
The setup couldn’t have been easier. It’s truly plug-and-play—just plug it into the USB port, connect the speakers or headphones, and you’re good to go. There were no drivers to install or any complicated setup process. Within seconds, the audio quality improved dramatically. This was a simple, effective solution to a frustrating problem.
Compact and Convenient Design
The adapter itself is small and sleek, which is great because it doesn’t add any bulk to my setup. It’s easy to toss in a bag if I need to move around, and its design feels durable. Despite its compact size, it packs a punch in terms of performance.
Great for Multiple Devices
While I mainly use it with my MacBook Pro, I’ve also tested the adapter on other devices, including a Windows laptop and a desktop, and it worked just as effectively. The versatility of this adapter is a bonus, as it can solve audio issues across various platforms.
Affordable and Effective Solution
Given its affordable price point, the UGREEN USB Audio Adapter is an excellent value for what it offers. If you’re dealing with audio issues related to interference or static in your speakers, this is a quick and reliable fix without breaking the bank.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. The UGREEN USB Audio Adapter solved my noise issue perfectly, and the sound quality has been significantly improved on my docked MacBook Pro setup. It’s a must-have for anyone experiencing similar problems with audio interference. Highly recommended!

Works, even on loud buzzing!
I host karaoke from time to time, and the bar’s got lots of TVs hooked up together. Their HDMI cable that runs into my laptop was feeding a ground loop into the mixer, and causing a loud audible buzz in their speakers.
Tried a ground loop isolator that was 69.99$ plus tax at my local music store. It got rid of THAT loud buzz, but it created a new, even more annoying crackle and it was big and bulky.
When this little gadget came in, I didn’t expect it to fix the problem for a fraction of the price of the other isolator I tried – but I was wrong! It worked flawlessly.
Some people say it reduces sound quality, but I did not experience this at all, and the speakers at the bar are loud so I would notice
10/10 product, amazing price for what it does if you can’t rewire a bar’s sound system. I’ll be bringing this to every venue!

I bought a new UGREEN shielded aux cable to use with my Sony WH-1000 XM4 headphones for my Rodecaster Duo, but I noticed a problem – there was this awful static noise. I did some research and found online that something called a “ground loop noise isolator” should fix it, so I picked this one up from Amazon and tried it out.
Sure enough – it works! I got this for $8.99 and honestly I’d say it was worth it.
In a separate case, I noticed an issue when using my Samsung J Series sound bar in my living room with my Dell Latitude laptop. Sometimes I would hear this awful loud buzzing noise, and I especially noticed it if the aux cable was plugged only into the soundbar and I touched the other (unplugged) end with my hand. This also happened while the laptop was connected to the soundbar at some point. Realizing that I was probably making ground with the connection, I tried to use this product for my laptop and the awful buzzing noise went away.
Hopefully this review helps!
Extra Information:
As for why I wanted to connect this laptop to my living room sound bar, it’s because I use it as a server running Rocky Linux and I set up a cron job to play a custom alarm sound every morning at 8:00 AM (cronjob syntax is 0 8 * * *) using cvlc (CLI VLC Media Player) that I created, which counts down from 20, then counts down from 10, and then fades into an extremely loud air raid siren. My reason for doing this is because I sometimes fight with myself to get up in the morning, especially if I stayed up late, so hopefully this will help me get up sooner. I’m going to buy a second one of these so I can have one for my Rodecaster Duo and one for my Samsung J-Series soundbar that’s connected to my Dell Latitude 7400 laptop.

Had a awful hum/ground loop when my keyboard and MacBook were plugged in to the mixer at the same time. Stuck this bad boy between the MacBook and mixer. Bam! Noise gone.
