Got this for a friend who just got a Magsafe case, this way he’ll be able to securely charge his phone while driving.

Pros:
The magnetic clip is super strong and I have zero doubts my phone will fall off. I actually have to use both hands to get it on and off. It charges your phone well and makes long trips with a GPS manageable. The adjustment spots make it really easy to customize it for your needs.
Cons:
-The cable was in the way because of its length but if you bundle it together it’s manageable
-in high heat the base feels squishy and like it’s going to just pop off. This hasn’t happened but I doubt it’s strength at times. I live in an area where the heat can be 100+ F.
-The charger causes my phone to over heat on a long trip, but I just disconnect the cable at that point.

I got this for my husbands work truck which is a basic bottom line truck so no fancy stuff inside lol. He needed something to charge his phone and has said this as worked great, haven’t had any issues with charging and was surprised how strong the magnet is.

This car mount is a 2-in-1 device: mount iPhone to car and do wireless charging to iPhone at the same time. It doesn’t have a claw to hold the iPhone. It uses MagSafe to snap on and keep the iPhone in place. So, it has a smaller foot print compare to those bulky competitors. The elegant black color makes it blend into the control console and dashboard.
The charging head is flat and slim. It has a very dim ring of blue light at the outer rounding of the charging pad. This makes it easier to locate it during night driving. When snap on the iPhone and start charging, that blue light goes off.
It has two methods of mounting: vent blade mounting or dashboard mounting. The kit includes a claw to grab vent blade and tighten a knob to secure onto it, then attach the charging head onto the claw and tighten another knob to secure it onto the claw.
The kit also comes with a sticky mount which has double side tape to place onto dashboard. The sticky mount has two flex wings that can fit into curved surface securely.
There is no USB car adapter included in the package. You need to reuse your old one or get one by yourself.
I like how simple it is and the feature to wireless charging while driving. Recommend.

The product arrived just two days after I ordered it and was exactly as promised. The only strange thing was that on the Amazon site, the status showed that it was delivered a month earlier (long before I actually ordered it) which made me believe that it might not be provided at all.
As it turned out, the vendor delivered as promised.

Pretty straight forward and easy to install, it charges well. Cable is generously long so you definitely have the length to set it up comfortably. Excess length can be wrapped around the mount and it’s unnoticeable and clean. The mount does get a bid wobbly when weighed down by the phone but its secure and its fine when you readjust it. The magsafe charging gets the phone hot which may cause problems in the summer when you get added heat from the sun. My phone got some temperature warnings but if you install it on the fan, the AC should make this problem nonexistent.

My husband owns a 2018 hybrid Camry XL-E and his dashboard has given us such a headache these past couple of months. He used to have a phone mount for his dashboard that just gave up after a long time. It happens. He does not want a mount that blocks the air vents and any of the car’s controls. Fair. That leaves us with mounts for his dashboard, similar to what he has lost. One would think this is no issue. However, we haven’t been able to find a mount with an adhesive that stays on his dash until this! And we even tried nano tape. (We did not want to try anything that could damage his car.)
The instructions say it needs a flat, level surface, and after installation, it only needs 15 minutes before the mount can be used. My husband’s dashboard has texture, and he wanted this placed in a not-completely level surface for the best viewing angle. We also waited until the next day to try the mount.
When we did try it, it would not budge. Guys, this is such a roaring success. My husband was ready to give up that he said he was fine with just holding his phone for GPS. When this mount worked, it was obvious that he was happy he’s once again hands-free with his GPS. Side note, his car does not have CarPlay.
Also, we only used the base and not the magnetic, wireless charger. Although I did try my phone on it and the magnet is STRONG. My husband prefers his old wireless charger that has a cradle since he does not want to put the included magnetic ring on his case. I believe if this holder gives out, I would still buy it again for the base alone. We’re so happy.

Charger was easy to set up and works well. Charges quickly. I like being able to throw my phone on it for a few minutes to charge without worrying about wearing out the charging port. Magnet is really strong and phone doesn’t fall off, even when bumped.
