This fan looked perfect for overlanding and road trips, so I had to snag it up. Luckily my ’23 Tacoma double cab has cup holders built into the back of the center console, so I was able to place it just fine there. As for the assembly, you just take the liner out of the bottom and screw the base into the fan/cupholder. You can also adjust it to whatever desired position you want. Once assembled and positioned, you then twist the base to extend the sides so it fits snug into the cupholder.
For the features, I like how I can angle the fan in different directions and lower/raise it too. The issue with the Tacoma is the lack of airflow to the rear seats, so this will allow the AC to be transferred from the front to the back more adequately. My only problem is the cupholder being EXTREMELY too wide. I have no idea what they were thinking, because most cups are designed with a narrow base. Either way, I’ll just use that to store a snack container or something. It does work well though, and it has 3 speeds that provide more than enough air for my kiddo. I do wish it was rechargeable, but that’s not a dealbreaker. Overall it’s a decent way to keep your rear passengers cool during the summer. With that being said, I’ll give it a 4/5.

Will not fit in my cup holder to any of m friends. The part for that just will not extend enough to really completely touch the sides so it may rattle a bit. Easy to turn off and on one handed. It pushes a lot of air but has a high whine at the top range of my hearing range and made some of my friends uncomfortable even if they could not hear the whine. I have autistic friends and this can be an issue for some. Would be almost perfect except for that whine. Well worth the money, and the actual construction quality seems well made. More manipulations of the fa( height, direction, tilt) than I expected. Easy if ill fitting installation.

This works perfectly for what we need it for! We have a kei car and the “cup holder” is about 2.5″ square. It is way too small to fit things like our Yeti water bottles or my husband’s protein shaker. This cup holder allows us to really expand the space for pretty much any size cup. I didn’t read the product description carefully and the upgraded cup holder size is a HUGE 4+ inches (it is definitely in the product description). It looks a little silly but we will never have to worry about whether a cup will be too big.
The center screw allows for the cup holder portion to be centered, or an inch or so offset if needed. The product also came with a tiny screwdriver with a magnetic tip, which was absolutely needed for securing the bottom to the main body.
We have yet to test the fan, but we know it will be useful–a rider in our back seat noticed that when the AC is running, the car’s vent fans aren’t strong enough for the air to move to the back. I think this will likely increase the cold air circulation pretty well. If the fan has issues I will update the review.

This little fan kicks out far more air than I expected, even on the lowest speed. My AC works fairly well, but this helps keep me cool in the heat & humidity of Florida, especially when I’m just getting in the car & the AC hasn’t had a chance to fully cool the cabin yet.
As an added bonus, the cup holder is actually big & deep enough to hold my 40oz ThermoFlasks, which would make it a welcome addition to my SUV even if it didn’t have such an effective fan attached! A couple of simple & easy adjustments to the fan head height & location allow it to accommodate the height of the 40oz bottle without impeding airflow, too. It might take a little bit of experimenting, but once you figure it out, it’s incredibly simple & only takes a minute.
I did originally test it on the end table next to my sectional, and found it to be equally effective there – as long as the fan head is over the cup holder is will remain balanced & you shouldn’t have issues with it tipping over during use. The very base cup holder can’t be attached for this to work, ofc, but it’s easy enough to attach and remove if necessary. I’ll be keeping the screwdriver in my car for just this reason, since I think the ability to use this as a portable fan will be helpful during an upcoming long-distance move, esp since it’s so small.
This is has turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ordered on Amazon in a long time & is a great value for the money.

When I saw this I thought this would be great with summer coming. The build quality is not bad, it was easy to install (but the way you tighten is a little low, you have to turn it outside of your car’s cup holder and then push it in). It fits okay in my car’s cup holder no real issues. I like the different fan speeds, the air flow is good, not bad for the price. However, I wish they would have offset the fan away for the cup holder, If you have a tall cup the fan gets in the way. This makes it hard to use fan and have a drink in the holder at the same time. Also inside the cup holder are plastic flaps to keep the cup from sliding around, I wish they would have used something else as this make it hard to get the cup out of the holder. Other than that its a great device.
