This is direct replacement for the original part. Easy to install and works as it should. This part does not come with a seal so you will have to get/make a new one. The connector fits into the factory plug connector so no need to cut wires or get an adapter. It does not include a replacement hose either so you will have to reuse the original if possible. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.
