Instructions:
1. Cut open vacuum sealed package and remove applicators.
2. Look at applicators and wonder why they’re not expanding.
3. Begin freaking out that after 10 minutes they’re still not expanding.
4. Read reviews and see that everyone is experiencing this, and realize that it’s foam and just running it under a faucet or soaking it in warm water will cause it to expand.
5. Let it sit out for a couple hours or so to completely dry.
6. Use it freely to apply your favorite dressing and enjoy.

I’ve used this type of applicator from an actual detailing brand, which I won’t mention by name for the sake of not sounding like an endorsement for that brand.
I purchased this cheap option thinking that a sponge is a sponge.
What could be different? Probably made from the same factory in China anyways?
Boy was I wrong!
If you’re expecting the product shown in the product description, then ask this company where they stole those photos from and buy that brand instead, because the product that you see in the photos is not what you’re going to get.
The first photo is the item 10 minutes after it was taken out from the vaccuum seal.
The second photo is the product 24 hours after.
Where’s the nice finger grip?
To add insult to injury, the applicator part of this crap is too soft for the actual application process.
Save your money and your time and buy this type of product from an actual brand that has brand image to conisder before selling crappy goods. unlike these unvetted products that list on Amazon and hook you with unrealistic glamor shots and a cheap price, sell bucket loads of them hoping that a certain percentage of buyers will keep the product, take the profit, and pass on the cost of returns to Amazon and make our Prime subscription costs go up.

Received them on the 16th. Took them out of a vacuum sealed package so expect for them to take a while to expand to full size. By a while, I mean it took me 4 full days of just letting them sit on the counter. So hope you don’t plan to use them right away for a quick touch up before a show or anything. In the pictures you can see the one to the far right still hasn’t expanded all the way. Even the ones that are “expanded” are malformed and odd shaped. Is it useable still? Probably. Is it highly inconvenient and slightly annoying? Definitely. Will just run to the auto parts store and get some next time. Don’t know how the quality will hold up, haven’t been able to use them yet……

I’ve tried multiple tire dressing/shine applicators and this is BY FAR the best one. A lot of the ones on the market are weak and tend to crumble, but these are SOLID. They absorb a decent amount of dressing, they are ergonomic for application, and cover tires with ease. They also help with not getting dressing over the floor or driveway. These will be a constant in my detailing arsenal! GET THESE.
